“Dream of the Garden” is an original work rooted in the authentic Shuimo (water-polished) style of traditional Kunqu opera. Inspired by classical literati theatre aesthetics, it unfolds through slow tempo, intentional silence, and delicate articulation,portraying the intertwining of dreams and longing.
The beauty of Kunqu lies not in volume, but in every breath between the words.
