Both the multiplication circle and the Circle of Fifths visualize a modular cycle by repeating a fixed step. The former uses mod 10 (last digits), the latter mod 12 (pitch classes). Different generators create stars or polygons. In both cases, abstract rules are translated into spatial form, allowing numbers or harmony to be understood through perception and movement rather than memorization.
