The Making of Rocky (1976)
Rocky (1976) tells the story of Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer from Philadelphia who gets an unexpected shot at the world heavyweight championship when reigning champ Apollo Creed chooses him as a publicity stunt opponent. Determined to prove his worth, Rocky trains relentlessly under the guidance of tough but caring coach Mickey and finds emotional strength in his shy girlfriend Adrian. On fight night, Rocky surprises everyone by going the distance against Creed, earning respect even in defeat. The film is a powerful underdog story about perseverance, self-belief, and the triumph of the human spirit.
