Private Universities New Laptop Scheme | Who is Eligible | Documents & Apply Method

Big news for students! For the first time ever, the Punjab Government has approved the Free Laptop Scheme for Private University students. In this video, I explain exactly how students from private universities can apply for the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025, the eligibility criteria, and the documents you need to submit.

📋 Eligibility Criteria for Private Students:
Residency: Must hold a valid Punjab Domicile.
Academic Record: Minimum 70% Marks (or equivalent CGPA) in your last semester/exam.
Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a recognized Private University in Punjab.
History: You must NOT have received a laptop in any previous PM or CM scheme.

📝 Documents Required:
Original CNIC or B-Form.
Domicile Certificate.
Valid University ID Card.
Result Cards/Transcripts (Matric, Inter, & Last Semester).
Recent Fee Slip (proof of active student status).

⚠ Important Note: Unlike public sector universities, private students often cannot apply directly on a public portal. You must contact your University Registrar or Admin Office immediately to ensure your name is sent to the Higher Education Department (HED) for the merit list.
