With Future & Metro Boomin releasing their album ‘We Don’t Trust You’ being what started the entire 20v1 rap battle between Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, Metro Boomin, Childish Gambino, Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty (maybe), Travis Scott (maybe), The Weeknd, Rick Ross, and more - which ended in Kendrick dropping his #1 hit record that was also a diss song with ‘Not Like Us’ - the entire world was listening to a song clowning Drake. Kendrick did the unthinkable afterwards, surprise dropping his album ‘GNX’ - announcing ‘The Grand National Tour’ with SZA, and giving us the music video to his now #1 billboard hot 100 hit song ‘squabble up’. Now, the year is done and in 2025, one of Drake’s biggest defendants - DJ Akademiks is facing backlash. After a weird exchange in a Discord chat, an odd issue with Drake and LeBron James and Chris Blake Griffith, and a slew of beef with rappers in the past like Meek Mill, Nav, Lil Baby, and more - DJ Akademiks is now in a very weird position, so is Drake while he performs on his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia - but Kendrick is in a great position. Gearing up to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl Half Time Show, Kendrick sat down with Ebro and Nadeska for an Apple Music press conference between the show and he spoke on the rap beef, the diss songs, ‘Not Like Us’, The Grammy Awards, his ‘GNX’ album, and more and now finally we got the performance with SZA the Super Bowl Halftime Show of 2025 and it was legendary. He dissed Drake with ‘Not Like Us’ he brought out Mustard and Samuel L. Jackson and he broke multiple records - with the show becoming the highest viewed halftime show of all time, then Drake dropped his PARTYNEXTDOOR collaboration album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ and Playboi Carti dropped his album ‘I AM MUSIC’ with Kendrick features, and now Universal Music Group aka UMG won their motion to dismiss Drake's case, and all while this was going on, The Game - a Westcoast LA legend - was not invited to Kendrick's Pop Out Concert victory after the rap battle rap beef. But The Game has some other problems, as he was roped into a $10 million dollar case and is allegedly forced to give up his Calabassis home and $7.1 million and Akademiks and Wack 100 talk about it, and while this financial problem happened, he went on Instagram to tell his fans he's doing discounted features for underground up-and-coming artists - and while on the surface this seems like a great deal, there's been a long history of The Game allegedly scamming pulling a scam on his fans along with potentially Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Dave East, 147 Calboy, Benny the Butcher, and more, and he just dropped a Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama in preparation of his new album - and he did a promo interview for the project with Big Boy in the Neighbourhood and on that interview he said he wanted to sign Kendrick when he was K Dot early on in the Top Dawg Entertainment TDE days - he is getting called out for that being a lie, and when we look at the history there's a long story of The Game lying whether it was during his beef with G Unit and 50 Cent and the G-Unot campaign - or his beef with Jay-Z, or the Super Bowl halftime show drama with Dr. Dre and his one-sided rap beef with Eminem, so we will look at the whole history and we will break it all down.
