When setting up a Swedish-style loom for weaving, safety strings on the wooden shaft bars can be critical for keeping Texsolv heddles where they belong. We explore a couple of uses for the strings - particularly for double-harness weavers - and demo a nice method for tying them through the holes at the ends of the bars.
