Causation
Aleppo is called milk in Arabic. Ibn Battuta writes in his travelogue "Tafta al-Nazar fi Gharaib al-Massar wa Ujab al-Isfar" while explaining the name of the famous Syrian city of Aleppo, that this city is also called Aleppo Ibrahim. Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) lived at the place where it is located. He used to give free milk from his goats to everyone who came. It became so famous that people would come in droves and ask where Aleppo Ibrahim was divided. Since this city was the division point of Aleppo Ibrahim, it came to be called Aleppo Ibrahim.
