US scholar Norman Finkelstein criticises GHF aid sites for reducing Palestinians to ‘scurrying rats’

Speaking at the New Millennium Church in Little Rock, US scholar Norman Finkelstein criticised the aid distribution sites managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation for reducing Palestinians to “scurrying rats”.

“How do they distribute the food? You know how they distribute it? They throw it on the floor and then people are supposed to run for it, to reduce them to rats,” he says.

Five Palestinians, including two children, died of starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from hunger in Gaza since the start of the war to 263.
