From Talyllyn to Tidmouth is the working title of a short documentary we’ve had planned for some time. An exploration of the Rev W Awdry's railway series and the connections to Wales.
The Talyllyn Railway, alongside others in Wales, played an important part in the history of the Railway Series. Inspiring characters, locations and storylines.
The influence of his books can still be seen today. And that's what we want to explore.
We have just started production on the documentary. With an estimated release date of Christmas this year.
It's no secret that the Railway Series has played an important part in our directors life. And it's an honour to work on a project like this. Something that's been 30 years in the making :D
