DJI Lied to Us:  This Mini 4 Pro Special Feature May Not Be True

Did DJI lie to all of us regarding this special Mini 4 Pro feature? I think they may have and here's the proof. Ok, maybe not proof, but it raises the question.

We have been inundated with Return to Home and precision landing questions regarding the DJI Mini 4 Pro lately and I think we may have uncovered some lies. Maybe not intentional lies, but lies non the less. Maybe DJI has a good explanation for telling us these Mini 4 Pro lies but I've not been able to find any.

It has to do with the wording in the DJI Mini 4 Pro manual under the "precision landing" section. The manual says the Mini 4 Pro "matches the terrain" upon the return to home flight and will not land until the terrain matches. If the terrain does not match, the Mini 4 Pro is supposed to hover and display a message saying the terrain doesn't match. Those may not be the exact words in the DJI Mini 4 Pro manual but it's close enough of a paraphrase.

Anyway, we decided to put this claim to the test and see if we could find definitive proof that DJI Lied. Did we find this proof? Stick around and find out what happens.
