This is the Palmerston North Stockcar Teams Champs 1982 Final where the Wanganui Warriors take on the home team of the Palmerston North Panthers. (Today its now the Superstocks Teams Champs). 1982 brought the second year of teams champs at Palmy after the Manawatu B team took the first victory ever at stockcar teams champs the previous year. This is some rare and early footage of the teams champs in New Zealand which captures what NZ speedway was like back in the 70s/80s. Many stockcar legends are racing in this video including 7w/v Tony Mac, Dave Evans in the 6p, the palmy tank Brian Anderson 1p and many more.
