AU EXPLANATION

Harry sat with Draco, Pansy and Blaise on the bus first year, Draco didn't like him because he was treated as a King. Harry never heard the things people thought of Slytherins so he never tried to stop the hat from sorting him into Slytherin. Once he was sorted everyone spread a bunch of rumors and everyone grew to hate him or fear him. By the end of second year when everyone heard him speak parseltongue Draco realized it wasn't a mistake he was sorted into Slytherin. He grew to like him and he started calling him by his first name. In third year they met Luna and realized she didn't have the same views on Slytherin as everyone else did, so she became their friend.

Ron is transgender, He came out the year before he went to Hogwarts. His family is supportive but he knows Molly is a bit upset because she didn't want another son. Once he was sorted into Hufflepuff even though his whole family is Gryffindor they started growing apart. Except for Ginny, she never understood her family's ways and stayed with Ron through thick and thin. She's his biggest supporter, and because of that fact they grew very close and Ron is very protective over her.

Everyone's views on Harry:

Ron:Because his family has strong views on houses, He feels uncomfortable around Slytherins, he fears that if he hangs around a Slytherin his family will find out and disappoint them even more. He barely talks to anything other than Ginny so he doesn't know all the rumors and he chooses not to believe them.

Ginny: Heard about the Rumors is on the fence about the Rumors she doesn't know whether she should believe them or not.

Hermione: A bit uncomfortable because she wonders if any of the rumors are true. She guesses not but fears why there are so many.

Luna: Strongly hates the rumors and refuses to listen to them. People fear what will happen if they bully her so ever since third year they stopped. Of course there are rumors about her as well.
