This is a digest version of "Hiroshima Kagura Regular Performance 2022", which is held regularly in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
Part of the performance will be posted regularly on this channel.
It is held every Wednesday at the Hiroshima Prefectural Cultural Center.
The performance on August 31, 2022 will be the Imuro Kagura troupe from Hiroshima City, and the program will be "Amanoiwato".

“Amanoiwato"
Amaterasu, sun goddess gets so angry at her younger brother Susanoo's evildoing, and she
hides herself into a cave. Since the sun is gone, everything goes pitch-black, and disasters
fall one after another.
Yaoyorozu gods and goddesses (Eight-million myriad kami ) get gathered at Amano
yasukawara (the plain of high-heaven), and discuss what measures they should take to lure her out of the cave.
Uzume Myojin performs a ribald dance in front of the cave, succeeds in making the “eight-million myriad kami” roar with laughter, prompting Amaterasu to take a peak at the unexpected uproar. Tachikaro-no-mikoto forces the cave to open, and the world is bathed in light again.

The "Hiroshima Kagura Regular Performance" is held every Wednesday at the Hiroshima Prefectural Culture Center in Otemachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, with the aim of conveying the appeal of "Hiroshima Kagura" to people from many directions, including tourists from the center of Hiroshima City and abroad.
