High Water Run in G3 16 CCJ (Jet Tunnel Hull) - Testing New Steering Wheel in the Chassahowitzka NWR

I shot this video in the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge while testing a new steering wheel I installed on my G3 16 CCJ. The wheel has a “spinner knob” which comes in very handy when maneuvering in narrow, windy creeks. (The stock steering wheel on this boat has a shape that made it impossible to securely mount a spinner knob.)
Along the way I took advantage of the high water to check out the headwaters of tributary of the Chassahowitzka River. I thought I could get a clear view of the springs that feed this creek, but eventually, closely spaced trees kept me from the actual source. It would be a great spot to explore further by kayak or stand-up paddle board.
