2002 Honda Accord V4 ULEV OBD code P1457 - EVAP purge solenoid (purge valve) location

Hi All,
I had an OBDII code of P1457 on this 2002 Honda Accord EX V4 ULEV(Emissions for this car are listed as (KL) aka California emissions! so definitely good to note what type of emissions system your car has). P1457 is an EVAP system code (canister side). While there are multiple parts that can go wrong on the EVAP system, from a loose gas cap to a small leak in a hose somewhere, there are a few basic components in the EVAP system that go bad often in these accords. In the 1998 - 2000 model, I believe the Canister Shut Valve (located directly on the charcoal canister by the rear left tire under passenger side door) is usually what goes bad and causes this code. On this 2002 model accord, the Purge Solenoid is notorious for going bad and throwing up this code. I could not find a video, nor did i find an answer on a google search as to where the Purge Solenoid (or as some people call it, the Purge Valve) was located and wanted to share this info. I hope this information is helpful for anyone needing to replace it in the future. Its a very easy fix and takes about 10 minutes to do if you get all your tools handy. Good luck!
