Hi everyone, this is Winnie. Would like to share with you my work of this week: A fruity cupcake! I draw with water soluble pen, then I start to do needle painting on it. The difference of needle painting is: there are a lot of colors used, even for this small piece, I used about 40 colors. Keep using different shades of color to build up the layers. And to show you that it’s actually water soluble, I accidentally spilled some water on it, then I had to wash it as it was a mess. I’m pretty happy with the final result. Stitches used: Long & short stitch, needle painting
Time to make : about 30 hours
Fabric: Cotton
Thread: Cotton thread 1 strand
