Sony PCM-7010 Professional DAT Recorder - No audio repair.

PB condition means there is a problem which will inhibit playback.
when opening up the unit I could smell a urine like smell which is a sign that chemical capacitors are leaking.
My best guess now is that the preamp capacitors are leaking and no data can be retrieved from the tape (therefore no output or indication of level on display).
