War (also known as Eric Burdon and War) is an American funk and soul band, which formed in 1969 in Long Beach, California. The band current line-up consists of Leroy "Lonnie" Jordan (keyboards, lead vocals), Stuart Ziff (guitar, vocals), Scott Martin (saxophone, flute), Stanley Behrens (harmonica), Sal Rodriguez (drums, percussion, vocals), David "Pug" Rodriguez (percussion, vocals), Marcos Reyes (percussion) and Trevor Huxley (bass).
Low Rider is the seventh track from their seventh album, Why Can't We Be Friends? released in June 1975. It was also released as the record's third single in 1975.
