Outside The Rain (2023) - inspired by

SilentMode's LEGO-built model is inspired by Safe From the Rain: the iconic string art by 3D Print Bunny.

Safe From The Rain was used to raise awareness of mental health issues for World Mental Health Day, and has helped to raise money for charity.

BACKGROUND
I made my debut as a 3D printing displayer at #SMRRF (Sanjay Mortimer RepRap Festival), the first-ever RepRap festival in the UK.

When I found out that the legendary designer was going to be there, I took the chance to design this simple Creation inspired by probably her most famous model.

The most significant difference with Outside The Rain is that there's no umbrella: instead, the MODEfig is "excluded" from getting wet. Read into that what you will!
