Speedy West - Afternoon of a Swan!?

On his 1962 record "Guitar Spectacular" Speedy West seriously took some chances. It's one of the great albums in expressing playing, and complex pedal work from a player who was more known for straight steel rockabilly and swing records with Jimmy Bryant and on backing Country Music stars like Tennessee Ernie Ford.

Afternoon of a Swan is one of the most inspiring and jaw-dropping steel guitar performances I've really ever heard.
