In this tutorial I will describe how to make a compact disc-sized POV Display controlled by a Raspberry Pi Pico W. It is a DIY electronics project which is easy to replicate.
The Rotating Display pico is the latest model in a series of devices:

The new model has an improved image quality and can display both still and animated images. The electronics has been simplified, needs less components and is easy to reproduce as a DIY project.
The Raspberry Pi Pico W controls 56 white LEDs and provides a wireless and user-friendly web interface. The device is wirelessly powered.
All design data is public and is available for download on GitHub:

The Github repository is still not complete yet. I will add a bill of material and more technical information in the upcoming weeks and months.
