Crawler and Trailing Shock tuning 101

I have looked all over and shock tuning videos for crawlers and trailer rigs are not that easy to come by. so I thought I would try and put together something that would serve as an introduction to shock basics. This will be a multi part series where I want to cover all things shocks. With the final being all about rebuilding and ensuring your shock last.

I have gotten so much happiness from my rc's and I really want to help others enjoy theirs as much as I do mine. Shocks and suspension tuning is something I have done a fair amount of research on, mostly just to understand all of the ins and outs of crawling and how to build better performance rigs for myself.

The Hoage I clamp to my radio base, then screw the Smatree stick to it. That allows me to lower the camera down to truck level and get ground level shots. Shout out to Tony at CCxRC for this setup, it works awesome
