The Simple Life was an American TV show in which 'society princesses/party girls Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie leave their parties, wardrobes and trust funds behind and move in with a farm family for five weeks to experience life as they have never known it. Kind of like "The Beverly Hillbillies" in reverse'.
