El Boqueron SAN SALVADOR | El Salvador Travel Series [S3-E56]

Located a short drive from El Salvador's capital San Salvador if the El Boqueron National Park and volcano crater. This volcano is only about 20 minutes journey from the city and gives you some of the best aerial views of San Salvador.

We were lucky to meet up with Edwin and his team from EC Tours. Based in San Salvador we did a free walking tour with them when we were in El Salvador about 6 weeks ago. If you are in San Salvador then we would really recommend the free walking tour, fun and varied it's the best one we have done so far.

We were also lucky to have the opportunity to be interviewed for Dario Digital Cronio - a local online newspaper who were curious about our travels and why we LOVE El Salvador so much.

If you are backpacking around Central America then don't skip El Salvador - it is one of the most relaxed and friendly countries in Central America and we were so lucky to have 3 weeks exploring this wonderful country.

In case you don't know us - let us introduce ourselves - we are Chris (48) & Marianne (51). We are a married travel couple. We recently quit our jobs and sold our belongings to travel full time.

After more than 22 years of marriage we are still best friends
