On Christmas Day, Meg wakes up Karen and Mack and says Merry Christmas. They remember that Jason leaves for Sweden for his scholarship on Christmas Day. Mack tells Jason he’s always going to welcome at his home. Jason hesitates getting on his flight, so Karen comes back to the airport. Jason tells Karen that he can’t go because of his new family. Karen says that Jason still hopes to hear from his father, but Karen tells Jason get on with his life and that he’ll always have her, Mack, and Meg in spirit.
Note: This is Thomas Wilson Brown’s final scene in Knots Landing.
