If we're lost in this life. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." We don't have to wander in darkness; He is the light if we come to Him. If we're hungry and thirsty, we may find that this life is unsatisfying. We continually think there must be more, but the things of this world will ultimately fail to satisfy or fulfill us. Jesus said, "I am the Living Water; you will never thirst again. I am the Bread of Life." If you want your appetite to be satisfied, it is found in Him and Him alone.
Is your life lacking purpose? Do you feel like it's going in circles, making one step forward and two steps back? Jesus said, "I am the Good Shepherd." Shepherds care for their sheep; they love them, guide them, lead them, make them lie down, and provide rest. They lead them to still waters. We don’t have to do this alone; Jesus promises, "I will guide you, I will protect you, and I will care for you."
