Is this CHEAP Epiphone with P-90s worth it? [guitar review and demo]

I bought this Epiphone Les Paul Special I P-90 Limited Edition electric guitar in Worn TV Yellow on sale from Musician's Friend for $151 + tax. It's an exclusive to Guitar Center / MF so if you want it you've gotta buy it used or at GC/MF.

I liked this guitar during my first impressions / unboxing video and my thoughts haven't changed after a few months with it. I still like it! I did give it a full setup (lowered string height, set intonation, polished frets, lemon oiled fretboard) but that's necessary for any guitar you buy.

These P-90s sound really nice! It's always fun when a very cheap guitar not only arrives without fret issues, but when it also plays well and sounds nice. This Epiphone Les Paul Special covers all the bases.

If you're looking for a cheap mod guitar, this is a great option. If you're looking for a cheap first guitar, this is a great option. (With caveats, which I cover in the video.) If you're looking for an affordable guitar with P-90 pickups well you don't have much choice, but this is a great option.

What I'm saying is, this budget Les Paul is a great option whether you're a beginner or not.
