Plot: Bambi was given up to a foster mother but she managed to get stuck in a hunters trap. Bambi makes a run for it but hears a gunshot and looks behind him, only to get killed by a dog right at his heels.

Months go by and the Great Prince still has a hard time coping with the loss of his only son and wife. And he goes into a deep depression, wondering if he'll ever find happiness again.

One day a husky named Jenna is found wandering the woodland. She's lost, scared and has no where to go. She stumbles upon the Great Prince. She's heard that he is the ruler of the woods and she thinks he could help her out. However the Great Prince feels that all dogs are nothing but murderous, heartless creatures. He snaps at her and tells her to get out of his forest but she apologies and overcome by hopelessness, is on the brink of tears. The Great Prince feels bad and suggests that she can stay by his side until she figures her situation out.

They gradually get to know each other and over the following months together, the Great Prince slowly falls in love with her ( but he's not sure how to handle it ). Jenna has had a crush on him for some time too.

One day Jenna is out in a field and gets shot by a hunter and he sends his dogs after her. The Great Prince comes to her rescue and Jenna watches in surprise as he risks his life for hers.

Later that night after escaping death, Jenna and the Great Prince head back to the den. Here the Great Prince contemplates his feelings for Jenna and the feelings he had for his former wife. He thinks of how he doesn't want to lose her. He also remembers her wise words about moving on in his head. He realizes he needs to follow his own words and put the past in the past.

The following days Jenna confesses her feelings to the reluctant buck but he warms up to her too. Enough to take her to the place where he met his first love and tell his life's story and the tragic loss of his family. After getting it off his shoulders, he nuzzles into Jenna and cries. Knowing that he can now move on with his life, cherishing the memories of his family and living a happy life with Jenna.

"Where one thing falls, another grows."
(( meaning when the love he felt for Bambi and his mom fell as in he lost them, the love for Jenna grew ))
