The Eleftheria Gala 2025 brought together Philadelphia’s Greek-American community for an evening of tradition, recognition, and celebration. Held at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown and hosted by the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley, the event honored Greek Independence Day through formal remarks, cultural performances, and community awards.
The evening included:
• The appearance of the Presidential Guard of Greece (Evzones)
• The presentation of the Eleftheria Medal to Caterina Papoulias-Sakellaris
• A live performance by KALOMIRA
• Music by Atlantis of Philadelphia
• A silent auction and Young Adult Cocktail Hour
• The announcement of the 2025 Parade Grand Marshals: Drake and Maria Behrakis
