🟤 Dinkvadi Recipe (Step-by-Step Description)
📝 Ingredients:
Dink (Edible gum) – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 1 cup
jaggery 1/2 cup (adjust to taste)
Ghee – ½ cup
Dry coconut (grated) – ½ cup
Almonds (chopped) – 2 tbsp
Cashews (chopped) – 2 tbsp
Raisins – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Nutmeg powder – a pinch (optional)

👩🍳 Method / Preparation:
1. Fry the Dink
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan on low flame.
Add dink little by little.
It will puff up immediately. Remove and crush lightly.
2. Roast Wheat Flour
In the same pan, add remaining ghee.
Add wheat flour and roast on low flame till light brown and aromatic.
3. Add Coconut & Dry Fruits
Add grated dry coconut to the flour.
Mix chopped almonds, cashews, and raisins. Roast for 1–2 minutes.
4. Mix Crushed Dink
Add crushed dink to the mixture and mix well.
5. Add Sweet & Flavour
Turn off the gas.
Add powdered Jaggerypowder cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder.
Mix everything properly.
6. Shape the Vadi
While the mixture is warm, spread it evenly on a greased plate.
Press firmly and cut into square or diamond shapes.
7. Cool & Store
Let it cool completely.
Store in an airtight container.
Shelf life: 2–3 week👌🙏
