The Academy Award winner shared a lengthy Instagram post featuring photos from their 2016 meeting while the actor was in production for his National Geographic documentary “Before The Flood.” He spoke to The Pope’s openness to scientific evidence around the climate crisis and regarded His Holiness as “one of the most extraordinary spiritual leaders of our time.”
