Copywork is a time-tested method of teaching handwriting, grammar and spelling that is popular with Home Educators, particularly those following a Charlotte Mason inspired curriculum. This pack is the first of four, and begins with letter formation. Children who have developed fine motor skills through playful activities and have the ability to concentrate for short periods of time will be ready to try this pack.

What makes this copywork pack special?
While there are lots of existing letter formation resources on the Twinkl site this one is different as it offers opportunities to pause from the hard work of writing and colour and doodle on the page, something Home Ed allows for that isn’t usually encouraged in schools. As any movement on a page is good for finger strength and pencil control this resource positively encourages children to doodle, colour and draw alongside learning letter formation.
