FLUTE CIRCLE - playing to WELCOME THE NIGHT TIME

For the flute players who joined me at East Brent in November 2022, this is a follow-up video to help you along on your journey.

And of course any fellow flute players out there who come across this video and feel inspired to join me here!

We played our 5 hole flutes using a 'DUSK' set of notes, ie, the lowest five, with our 'home note' being the very lowest one. Establishing our pulse, finding a rhythm platform, embracing the mood and intention ... welcoming the darkness and the time of rest.

Workshop style Flute Circles take place monthly in East Brent, Somerset UK. We learn and practice playing techniques, talk about flute-y stuff and explore the different aspects of being a flute player, and we get our flutes and our souls singing! Our Flute Circle is a creative, supportive, encouraging environment. All flute players are welcome, including complete beginners. You do of course need to have a flute of your own.
