Python Control of FeelTech Waveform Gen: How to get it working

Controlling an FY2300 Feeltech arbitrary waveform generator from a computer can be a bit of a challenge, but I got it working and show you how I did it and how you can use Python to control this function generator through USB serial, to automate tasks or just make using the device easier.
Though this adventure is around my FY2300-20M--i.e. 20MHz version FY2300, which the v3.4 firmware identifies as model FY2320--this library also works for a host of FeelTech/FeelElec signal generators from the FY family (like the FY6600, FY6800, FY6900...) and my fork/new functionality should soon be pulled into Matt Wach's fygen project.
