An in depth repair guide for the apple iPod mini, both first and second gen as they are nearly identical. This is one of the easiest to repair ipods as the parts are bigger and less fragile than many of the other models. This also makes it more durable. There are not many steps either and the upgrade can generally be completed in a short amount of time. If you are interested in owning an ipod in 2022 this is diffidently a good one to consider.


I also forgot to mention that the buttons are not cross compatible between the generations. For example first gen buttons will not work on a 2nd gen mini logic board and vice versa.
