Easy DIY how to: draining and refilling oil and changing oil filter on a Suzuki M13A engine. The car featured is a second generation 2006 Swift but the process applies generally. This engine was also used in the Jimny, Aerio, Liana, Chevrolet / Holden Cruze, and Subaru Justy.
You will need:
Jack & axle stands, ramps, or some other safe way of getting under the car. Do not use the vehicle's spare wheel jack.
Oil, semi or full synthetic 10w40 or 5w30 depending on climate (refer to user guide for Suzuki chart). Amazon links:

Replacement filter of the correct type and size. The easiest way to find the right size is to quote the vehicle to the merchant. Amazon links:

17 mm hex socket with bar and/or ratchet.

Rags.
Oil tray to drain old oil.
Container in which to dispose of old oil.
Funnel.
Ideally: torque wrench for tightening drain plug (50 Nm).
