We love Bulgaria!
We’d spent a few days travelling down the coast of Bulgaria and we were ready to hit the road west and traverse all aboot the Balkan Mountains which pretty much spans the length of Bulgaria and beyond.
We had the best time crossing the Balkan Mountains with our big touring bikes. The climbs aren't too tough and there's a great mix of scenery and gotta love the fresh mountain water in your bottles too. So cold and exactly what you need during a hot summer climb.
We were treated to some amazing food, hospitality and some classic dog chases. We even got to stay in the Cherepish Monastery!
