The joint statement from this visit highlighted their collaboration in counter-terrorism efforts and combating terror financing.

In the wake of the tragic Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, 2025, which claimed 26 lives, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman strongly condemned the act and expressed solidarity with India during this period of grief.

These developments indicate a significant shift in Saudi Arabia's approach, moving towards a more balanced stance that acknowledges India's perspectives on the Kashmir issue.
