Part 2 of my comparison of the Apollo X16 vs the Apollo 16 Mark 1.
I recently upgraded my Apollo 16 Mk1s to the X16s, and while I had both sets of converters I thought I'd test how much of a difference there was between them.
In this video I compared the A to D conversion on three individual tracks:
1) Monosynth: TT-303 playing a Daft Punk riff
2) Drum Machine: TR8 playing an Aphex Twin riff
3) Polysynth: DSI Rev 2 playing the chord sequence from the Twin Peaks theme.

The signal flow was: Synth/Drum Machine → SSL Sigma Summing Mixer → Apollo A to D conversion → Ableton
