Anchor church is dug out from the Limestone rock face of an area of the River Trent. You can date the caves back to the 17th century, and visually form the 18th century.
There’s lots of myths and folklore that surround them including a hermit from the 6th century.
I walk there, and as I really enjoyed the walk I kept most of the walk in this video, I hope you enjoy.
