Este trabajo se ha realizado con el objetivo de educar, enseñar y expandir el conocimiento a todos aquellos interesados en estudiar y aprender danzas, música y religión afrocubana, ya que la música, el canto y la danza son tres elementos inseparables de esta cultura.
Changó es orisha mayor , rey de los tambores batás, dueños de los relámpagos y truenos , orisha que representa la virilidad masculina , sus colores son el blanco y el rojo y su numero es el 6 . Changó es asociado en la religion católica con Santa Bárbara Bendita , Gevioso en la tierra Arará, y a Siete Rayos en el Cicle Congo Palo o Bantú.
El secreto de la danza afrocubana está en desarrollar el sentimiento interno de los cantos y ritmos que se relacionan con cada danza y estilo.

Changó is a major orisha, king of drum beats, owners of lightning and thunder, orisha that represents virility, its colours are white and red and its number is the 6. Changó is associated in the catholic religion with Santa Barbara Bendita , Gevioso in the Arará land and Seven Rays in the Cicle Congo Palo or Bantu.
The secret of Afro-Cuban dance is developing the internal feeling for the songs & rhythms that relate to each dance and style.
This work has been done with the objective of expanding the knowledge to all those interested in Afro-Cuban dances since music, singing and dance are three inseparable elements of Afro Cuban culture.These songs have been transmitted orally from generation to generation and that is why there are many versions . These translations have been retrieved on the basis of information from researchers, master musicians, singers, whom I want to thank for such a good job and others, in Afro-Cuban culture.
