Rendlesham Forest UFO Trail

Rendlesham Forest is situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. What makes it famous is that its the location to Britains most significant UFO event which took place there in December 1980. The incident is often referred to as Britains Roswell. The UFO events occurred just outside RAF Woodbridge, which was used at the time by the United States Air Force (USAF).

Close by is another old base called RAF Bentwaters which houses a musuem open to the public. Both bases were active during the cold war, their military service closed after the USAF left in 1993.

The forest has a camp site and various trails, the most interesting one being the UFO trail that takes you through bits of the story of that night in Dec1980 where you can allow your imagination to carry you away.

Included in the video, I have marked out on a map the various areas that are being filmed in this video in the forest (including the direction the camera is facing). At the end of the video I have included photos showing how the UFO structure apparently looked when it was first installed, compared to the graffiti covered mess that it now is.
