7 days, 4 mouths, $50 this was tough! Did we make it?
Tried to base it off 2 adults + 2 kids regular everyday people, is it ideal? No but it was just to see how close we could get to $50.
🥣 Meal Plan (7 Days) For general purposes only
🍳 Breakfast (Same daily to save cost)
• Porridge with banana or apple slices
• OR Toast with butter + fruit
🥪 Lunch Ideas
• Egg sandwiches or grilled cheese
• Leftovers from dinner
• Rice with mixed veg + fried egg or beans
• Tuna (if you can stretch the budget to add a tin or two ~$1 each)
🍲 Dinner Ideas
Day 1:
Spaghetti bolognese – pasta + mince + onion + canned tomatoes
Day 2:
Fried rice – rice + egg + frozen veg + soy sauce (if already in pantry)
Day 3:
Baked chicken drumsticks with roasted carrots and rice
Day 4:
Veggie stir-fry with rice – frozen veg + onion + egg + leftover chicken if any
Day 5:
Lentil/bean curry – canned lentils + onion + carrots + canned tomatoes + rice
Day 6:
Pasta bake – pasta + frozen veg + cheese + canned tomatoes
Day 7:
Omelette night – eggs + cheese + onion + carrots + toast

• Use seasonings, oil, or sauces you already have at home (e.g. salt, pepper, garlic, soy, curry powder).
• Mix and match leftovers into wraps, soups, or frittatas.
