Hi, I'm Robyn of Calligraphy Joburg... In this video I demonstrate and discuss how to use a Lamy Z28 converter (the red one) in your Lamy fountain pen.. I am using the Lamy Safari but everything I show applies to the Lamy AL-Star and the Lamy Joy. Since I started using, teaching with and selling Lamy's I have never had a problem with them, and the converter is a great way to use different colour inks, as well as sparkly inks like the Diamine Shimmer fountain pen ones. Lamy's are super easy for beginners and versatile for 'normal' writing as well as traditional italic calligraphy.
