Heading South (towards Minnesota) to find NEW FISH

So, where do I start? This was a bit of an adventure. I found a lake I wanted to explore that was no very far in distance but is was nearly a two hour drive from home. 1 hour of that journey being a remote gravel road without cell phone service.
This video took two attempts to film because the first time I drove down there I stopped my truck to check something out and when I jumped back in to continue to drive I discovered that my starter quit. Instead of fishing and enjoying my Sunday off, I was messaging my wife desperately trying to find a way back home.
I did make it home, I did get my truck fixed but the following weekend I was on-call at work. I had to wait another week to try this again. 2 weeks later, the weather looked good and I drove down the gravel road once more. This time arriving at the lake.
The main target was two species, two species that did not show up. that would be black crappie and largemouth bass. I didn't catch them but I still managed a great multi-species morning. Finding 7 different kinds of fish by noon. I only fished the morning at this location since I had another spot I wanted to try. It is always a great day when I am able to film enough content to make two videos. Here is part one of my day fishing down south.
