We competed in a WILD mule race!!

It’s another wild day at Ty Evans Mule Week and we’ve got some action you won’t want to miss! We brought our mules Clyde and Reata along, plus our draft cross filly Mesa (who’s tagging along while she heals), and the competitions are heating up.

After a full day of clinics and events, we saddled up for the cow working competition and then things got a little western with the bedroll scramble! If you’ve never seen it before, this event is chaos in the best way — mules turned loose, riders scrambling to catch, saddle, and ride — and it makes for some unforgettable action.

We’re also playing a little mule shoe golf and keeping our eyes on the prize as Clyde and I continue battling for that all-around championship buckle.
