Hi!
I let my old Bandit sit just a little too long... Luckily I use non-ethanol!
The carbs needed a simple quick clean, no full disassembly or dipping required, or kit for that matter as 3 years ago I had rebuilt them because the bowl gaskets were leaking, and age of fuel o-rings etc etc.
In this video I show a time lapse of the job and what it entails, with a few tips along the way. It's meant to aid with those who have enough experience to get themselves out of the trouble they may get into, and for those who are handy and want to give it a try.
This video won't be too helpful with a bike needing the carbs fully rebuilt and dipped etc. I'll make a more comprehensive video the next time I need to fully rebuild and tune a set of carbs.
This video does show changing the height of the needles.
I get my old yard bike back! Next up is to free up the front calipers, clean the front master, and un-stick the rear master, then flush the brakes.
