This was the final appearance of the David and Irene Wood Latin American Formation Team representing Scotland in the 1981 heat of Come Dancing at the Assembly Rooms at Derby.
We knew that this was our final hurrah and we were determined to go out on a high and we did - winning Scotland's only section of the night. The team went their seperate ways couple of months later, ending an association with the programme going back almost 30 years
