Hanhsilk was founded in the the year of 2012 by Ms. Luong Thanh Hanh with the view to reviving a long-standing traditional handicraft village of silk and tussar weaving in Nam Cao, Thai Binh that seemed to be dead and simultaneously bringing the villagers of Nam Cao Cooperative a better life under fair trade conditions.

Nam Cao Cooperative belongs to Hanhsilk Trading JSC , in which hundreds of family units are participating, shoulder the responsibilities of production ranging from mulberry growing, silkworm growing to fiber threading, and silk weaving....
