How to paint gladiolus flowers using only a flat wash brush + Being present. Gladiolus flowers are one of my favorite! I know, I have so many…But painting these sweet florals with a flat brush is going to give you some angular marks and brushstrokes you won’t find in a round brush, for example. Since we are painting this entire thing with one brush, it’ll also challenge us to utilize light pressure versus heavy pressure in our painting, rather than relying on separate thin and thick brushes to do the work.
